The textile trade situation in developing countries

Many developing countries will face the prospect of the textile trade liberalization shivering. Developed countries are required to cancel their most likely protection benefits of the industry. It should enable them to gain an advantage from their low wages labor. This seems to be a long time ago. For example, Bangladesh has nearly 400000 textile workers and 800 factories in 1990. In nowadays, it almost has 2 million textile workers and 4000 plants. Most workers are women. The world bank economist estimates that there are 10 million people to 12 million people depends on the industry to survive.

Until a couple of years ago, some countries have become rely on textile industry. In Cambodia, many people brought overseas investment. The clothing manufacturing got the investment from China to Hong Kong and Taiwan. Clothing export accounts for 70% of the merchandise exports of Cambodia in the modern society. In Bangladesh and Brazil, clothing export of proportion is higher. In Pakistan, Mauritius and Sri Lanka, clothing export market share has occupies more than 50%.spy sunglasses
